Anthony Macauley & Associates (Victoria) Inc. (AMA), is a trusted provider of government-focused financial management solutions since 1978. The company’s flagship product, GX, is an end-to-end Financial Management Suite tailored specifically for the Government of Canada. Recognized as one of only two financial management systems approved by the Treasury Board Secretariat, GX is currently used by multiple government departments and agencies. By ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, GX plays a role in supporting better allocation of Canadian public funds to essential services.
AMA was founded in Edmonton and relocated to Victoria, BC, in 1980. Over four decades, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality software solutions and consulting services, with engagements spanning the globe. Key projects include collaborations with the United Nations, the Caribbean Development Bank, and several multilateral organizations. GX - THE PRODUCT
GX is unique in that it is a full function financial management system build for and with direct input from clients. The resulting product has ensured that it meets all the requirements of the Canadian federal government. GX is fully approved for use by all government departments by the Treasury Board Secretariat.
Our experience encompasses working with multiple ministries and agencies in the Canadian federal government as well as international organizations such as UN Women, Caribbean Development Bank and the World Bank.
Our People
AMA, since the pandemic, has evolved into a virtual company with staff located in Victoria and Ottawa. Our Victoria office handles software development and technical solutions while the Ottawa staff handle client relations and consulting operations.
